WarStages Update #27: First images we’ve all been waiting for!

Dear WarStages backer,

Yes! Here are the images we’ve all been waiting to see: the samples have been made and we have a full (and pretty fast) schedule for the manufacturing. I've taken a Skype screengrab from a conversation with our supplier where they share with us for the production planning for the plastic clips, which are the longest part of the project to manufacture:

We are still waiting to have the physical samples of clips and cathedrals in our hands, but here are quick photos shared by the manufacturer.

Better yet, contrary to what had been announced, the samples are not white cardboard, they have been made directly in full color. On the photo, you can also see the die-cut marks that make each element on the board pre-cut and easy to punch out.

Also since things have been so long, the manufacturer has placed us in front of the queue line and the plastic clips will be produced in record time (about 1 month instead of the usual 3!).

The only thing we still have to finalize is the game mat manufacturing as it is so large that they are not sure exactly how to print it. But no worries, we've already found an alternative source and the production process should parallel the rest of the project so that everything is ready at the same time.

The samples are in the post from the manufacturer to us, and we will share new photos as soon as we receive them. They are coming in by express courrier, so that will happen in the next few days.

We hope that all these infos make you as excited as we are. Your cathedrals will soon be on their way to your gaming table.
