THE JAILBIRDS DIVISION (JB)
(We nicknamed them the Rambettes.) They were the ones that started it all. They are a bunch of low-life bad-ass big-attitude girls who all ended up in planetary prison held by the Kurganov government. In the game, they will be used as small penitentiary contingents led by the Kurganova Shock Troops, or as a full autonomous faction (because, as you can easily imagine, many of them have escaped captivity). They are commando-style units with nothing to lose, and they specialise in acquiring enemy equipment for their own purposes.
I actually bought it for & had it sent to my brother. I'm waiting to see how it comes out w/ the Lulu lil JBs I got for him back in March.
Someone on the design team was definitely channelling Jamie Hewlett with this sculpt. . .
Another so-laid-back-she's-nearly-falling-over sniper. But this is the grungy, seen-it-all, "Yeah, whatever", counterpart to the poised and polished Mortaria (mind, when your name means 'song of death', "poised" is the only real way to go. . .)
It's the details that make this mini, like the lidded eye and the lollipop casually rolled in one cheek. That and the finesse with which they're executed.
The casting was clean and pin-sharp, with little flash, and next to no filling necessary, mostly due to a well considered parts break-down. Detail is very fine, but crisply cast. With some such as the 'mickey mouse' ears on her helmet, so fine as to give you pause.
My Blondie will be walking the post-apocalyptic earth (she might acquire a tank along the way. Beer may well be involved. But 'snogging kangaroos' is an unlikely eventuality)
- However, I could see her serving with almost any Imperial Guard force that's been 'in country' for far too long. Offering her services to the highest bidder in the underhive, or among the grimier backwaters of Infinity's network. Or perhaps finally finding a cause against the brutal enforcers of the GCPS.
