Box Content: Charlie, the Kurganovas' War Bulldog, KST mascot + 25 mm round base.
THE KURGANOVA SHOCK TROOPS (KST) Led by the ultra-powerful Kurganov family, the Kurganova Shock Troops are a highly organized and disciplined army with underlying Eastern European themes. They also benefit from the support of strong cyber-enhanced paganic magic. This, among other things, allows them to 'waken' the 'were' gene that can transform some members of the Kurganova army into giant were-wolves or were-bears.
Quality of the miniature is very high. Only bubbles there are present in the bottom part that sits on the base, so there almost no bubbles at all. A tiny piece chipped off Charlie's hat, but resin there is so thin it's no surprise. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.
The model had a weird cut in the hat and right eye that I believe is just a casting issue, but I worked it in as a scar across the right eye and I think it turned out really nicely. Over all great model.
"False alarm people. It's just a dog. Okay; Drevin, Kel, you clear-"
"- Wait. What? No; So what? It's a dog."
"Well. . . I don't think it likes you much."
"Drevin. look at it. It's someone's lost pet. It's lucky no-one's eaten it."
"Yeah. But still. . ."
" Oh, For fek's sake! Its wearing a cute little-OHGODGETTITOFFGETITOFFME!!!!"
A tidy little casting, with very little clean-up and filling required. Has been posed to be (just!) Able to share a 25mm round base with an accompanying trooper (like a real-world Regimental mascot and it's keeper)
Note, however, that you may have crowding with bulkier mini's from manufacturers who prefer more 'heroic' proportions than RH. And I cannot see it sharing a 20mm base in the same way - A pity, this would make a unique 'standard' for an Imperial regiment in Warhammer.
Other than his use as a 'standard' or mascot, Charlie could be a useful pet/guard/attack dog in any number of skirmish games.
