WarStages Update #32: News from China

Greetings dear WarStager!

Here are are the latest news from our China partners:

As you'd probably imagine, we've been in contact with our project manager Catherine early last week as she and the rest of her company were scheduled to get back to the factory. However, this is what she told us:

So we waited a few days more to see how things would progress.

Catherine and her team are currently working from home; as you can see in her message, they are not yet allowed to re-enter the company's facilities for work.

However, we've been able to work with her on the packaging so everything would be ready when the factory reopens.

As you may have seen in the news, the country is nearly on lockdown. People are allowed only to go outside for absolute necessity, disinfectant is spread on the streets and even on cash money, and now there are so few people allowed to work on fret that much of the fret transit has stopped in and out of China.

The only option is to be patient, wait and wish China a little bit of luck.

Update: I just spoke with Catherine today. She has approved the packaging file. We are continuing to be in contact with her to see if there's anything else we can all work on while the factory is closed. Of course, we will let you know whenever more info or anything new comes up.

Once again we wish our Chinese friends the best and we thank you all for your patience.
