Carnevil Circus Wave #1 Pack (CC - F)

I don't really do a lot of resin miniatures, but I've been staring at the Raging Heroes stuff for a while, and I was really taken with the Carnevil Circus miniatures. I thought they had a great theme. When my box arrived (quite quickly, considering it was coming from overseas), I found that the miniatures had a A LOT of sprue, which may well be normal for these types of miniatures. I set to work with a sprue nipper, and collected all the bits of each miniature together (they are all multipart, and some are quite complex). I decided to start with Marvellious, as he seemed to be the simplest of the bunch. I needed to straighten his sword a bit, as it had gotten bent. That was easy to do just by running some hot water over the piece. I cleaned off the sprue stubs with files and sandpaper, and glued his sword arm on with superglue. I hid the seam with a little Vallejo putty. I generally prime my miniatures with Rustoleum universal bonding primer. That took to the resin quite well, so no problems. Then I gave him a black base coat, and set to work. I'm a very slow painter, but I finally got him done, and I'm looking forward to doing the rest!

The detail on these are amazing. I've only gotten them built yet, no paint but I'm looking forward to that and using them in a campaign.
