Davidians Pack - Command + Troop (SoEM - SF)

Very pleasent to paint, lots of small details, delivery under 48h what more ?

These have got to be my favorite miniatures from Raging Heroes. Plenty of skin for practice, clear and easy to read details, and amazingly well done faces. Getting the eyes for these gals was shockingly easy. That and the sockets allow for easy customization, so you can mix and match parts. For the gal in the back with the spiked whip, I used a number of pieces from the Blade Maidens and Blood Vestels (Sci Fi), and even some GW parts. So, ultimately, it's really easy to get a lot of character out of these minis. You're stuck with the scrolls and books, of course, but it's not like that takes away from anything. Of course, I also really like their aesthetic. I still hold on to some of my vanilla (unmodified) ones, too. But, as you can see, I made some modifications, like filing off the bands around the thighs, sculpting on different hair cuts and making them bare chested. Most of those are actually ideas for suggestions I have. Giving them options to be bare chested if you want. After all, their lore says that Saint Davidia stood naked and they are supposed to be following in her footsteps so it makes some sense. Admittedly, I may have given some of them a little too big of a chest size, but it does give them variety in appearance. If you're wondering how I did it, I just cut off the band and what's underneath it, rolled a ball of green stuff, placed it where the previous pair was and flushed it into the rest of the body with some sculpting tools. It was surprisingly easy. But, tangent over, a suggestion I have for improving the models would be reducing the amount of bands around the thighs because it really makes them busy. Anyway, thank you for enduring through this post and thank you to Raging Heroes for giving me these awesome minis. Can't wait to put them on the tabletop.

The good: The clean up effort is minimal. A few bits of flash (easily removed with a tooth brush), and some left overs from the sprue (nicked off with a decent craft knife), was all there was to it. Along with the prep instructions in the box this kit should be built and ready to paint in just over an hour. Fantastic detail and surprisingly well fitting parts make it a simple yet rewarding process to build as well. The GREAT The team of at Raging Heros. I could have kept going about the quality of the minis, but there are already plenty of other reviews about that. What really sold me on them was the effort put forward by there people on my behalf. Every question I asked, and every request I made of them prior to perches was carried out in a timely fashion and to completion. That extra work alone made this product worth it for me. My husband loves his minis! They are exactly what he was looking for and shipping was pretty fast. I will be ordering more soon - Christmas is coming!!

Models are 15% of scale (too small) compared to sisters of battle, challenging to paint, lots of work / resin bending. Gorgeous nonetheless

The miniatures are beautiful! I love everything about them.

These ladies are amazing looking. Switching arms or heads was no problem among these modelsm giving you the option to make them a bit more unique. Quality wise, they look awesome, like the small beads, the abs of these girls. Will have lots of fun fielding them when they are painted.

Really impressive troopers, the best you can have on the battlefield!!! High quality characters, super job on the details...Raging Heroes always know how to make me happy!!!

I've had my eyes on this squad for quite some time, and was able to get them on sale. :-) I ended up going with an insured shipping option, which I probably didn't need to bother with, but it made me rest easier knowing they were covered. The detail in this squad can best be described in one word: PHENOMENAL. They are pretty intimidating to put together, so much so that I opted just to have a friend of mine take care of everything, as I already have too many projects vying for my attention, and something this intricate I felt better contracting out. I do look forward to using them in battle in an Apoc style battle later this fall, so we'll see how that turns out. :-)

A little hard to wash so all the "grease" are removed so I can paint. But really nice details in the miniature.
