We just released Sil-Iriah, the Spirit of the Woods, an amazing centrepiece for your Wood Elf, Barbarian, or Chivalric Armies.
Syl-Iriah comes in two sizes at the moment:
- Heroic, an impressive character standing 10cm high, she can be easily included in any unit with the 20×20mm base.
- Legendary, a massive supernatural creature, towering above the battlefield with her 16cm height, she’s based on a 50×50mm square base.
A third version, the Epic / 54mm scale version, will be available soon, and will stand 25cm tall.
All versions come with a set of 6 accessories/weapons to make this character a Warrior, a Sorceress, or a Warrior mage.
And stay tuned this week for the release of our Vampire/Dark Elf Lord character…

Look at those wings! Are you planning those to be released in resin to be added to a metal body, similar to the standard bearer?
It seems it may be a very top-heavy model if the entire thing was metal.

Syl-Iriah Legendary is cast in white metal, except for the swirl of the lower body which is cast in resin.
At the base of the swirl, there is an insert to allow you to affix the mini to its base and make it look like it barely touches the ground.
Syl-Iriah Heroic is all cast in white metal but again, at the base of the swirl, there is also a metallic insert.
Actually, the swirl of the lower body is quite heavy so that there are no balancing issues.
We chose to do the wings in metal for three reasons:
- First, since the wings are fairly pointy and their tips would be much more fragile in resin.
- Also, since the shape of the wings is very bent, casting them with resin would have required larger moulds and increased the cost of the mini.
- Therefore, the wings are cast in metal with just a slight curve, but their thickness will allow them to be easily bendable yet sturdy enough so that every one can shape them the way they want.

Ah, that makes sense! I (and many, many others) can’t wait to see this thing out of the digital realm and onto the table!
